Review content:
We hired this company and it was the worst mistake! The owner STEVEN SHIRLEY gives you one price in the beginning and another MUCH HIGHER price when it comes time to settle up. He and his one helper (usually his son) always arrive late, work 4-5 hour days, then they think nothing of smoking inside your house and flicking cigarette butts around you yard. Then to save money they heavily dilute the poly with mineral spirits which of course looses the sheen you request. Throughout the entire 3-4 day process be prepared to listen to him complain about how ""hard the job is"". Of course this is the beginning of setting you up to be charged 20% more than he originally quoted. The workmanship is dreadful and terribly UNPROFESSIONAL!
He says he has Liability Insurance and is Licensed; but we found no evidence of that. Try making payment in his Company Name, he will surely insist you make the check payable to him personally.
THIS IS THE WORST HARDWOOD REFINISHING COMPANY WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Strongly suggest you shop around.
