Review content:
My son suffers depression. Monica, his counselor was amazing, until I was forced to begin homeschooling a younger child who suffers from autism. I had to take him with me, and we were going to sit in the waiting room, if it was okay with the secretary. I asked the secretary who seemed fine with allowing my child to be there. My son was ""stimming"" and tried to close a curtain, but I stopped him. We sat on the floor playing with the toy dollhouse while we waited. He got a little screechy, and I told him to quiet down, which he automatically did when told. I asked the secretary if we were okay still or if she wanted us to wait outside by the park. I was told no, he is being fine. So the next week, out of the blue I got a call from Monica. She told me that my son was being loud and refusing to stop playing with the curtains and I needed to be more authoritive. I said he did play with the curtains, but that was at the very beginning and he stopped when I talked to him. I also admitted he was being a bit screechy, he doesn't notice when he is being that way but each time, about 4, I told him and he quieted right down. She kept going asking me to get a sitter, asking me to leave him at the crisis nursery, ( I dont drive and take buses and you are not supposed to use them as a permanent every week solution). I finally told her we quit, and spoke with a supervisor. The supervisor, Catherine, I think, was extremely nice until she ""spoke to Monica"", and called me back throwing fits at me that I was trying to ""Shoot the messenger"", when I had barely said a handful of non-cursing words. I would never use them again. They truly don't care about their patients, as I can attest to, they seemed to not give a damn that they upset an already depressed and unhappy 9 yr old child. They made things go from bad with my son to worse. They should loose their licenses and never be allowed near an unhappy or depressed person again.
