For details, check my full story at web site: bit.ly/d0F2rj (no it's not an ad) I had a computer built (when they were Future 2000) at the NYS Fair Grounds. It took longer than normal because they had to put a different sound card in. After spending two days troubleshooting with a computer tech/friend of mine (I was just learning to do so myself) we discovered the sound card was causing a conflict. They should have found that when they set it up. Then I discovered they put an Intel Celeron processor in but said it was a Pentium processor. I sent it back for them to repair and they took far to long to repair it. I got all sorts of excuses. They didn't get it yet. They were waiting on parts. They shipped it - but couldn't come up with a tracking number... Finally I asked for a full refund. Now, I was working at a retail store, so I was familiar with return policies. I eventually convinced them to give me a refund, but they claimed they couldn't return the New York State tax. I knew this was incorrect and confirmed it with the store I was working at. I never received my full refund and eventually they just stopped taking my calls.
Pros: I would say built it on the spot but that didn't work too we
Cons: Scammers, possibly even illegal stuff.
