Review content:
Called the main office after seeing a sign for rent. Agent who answered the phone (Gertrud) knew nothing about the property. Viewed the apt several days later and again the agent was unable to answer any questions about the apartment, but was pressuring me to put down an immediate deposit. Apt was listed with certain restrictions and I asked to speak to the Landlord regarding these restrictions. After several days of back and forth, and no return call as promised, I sent Gertrud a text message asking if she had a chance to contact the landlord and received a text back saying ""they don't want to talk to you, they're reviewing another application"" after I already made an offer on the apartment. By far the most unprofessional response I have ever encountered and completely unwarranted. And yet she was quick to disclose she would be charging a full month's broker fee for an apt she had never even laid eyes on and knew nothing about. Stay clear of liberty realty unless you enjoy dealing with people who have no class.
