First of all, I would to say that I am no expert on boba drinks/desserts. I wanted to visit a café in my local area and so it happens that The Street serves boba which was where I went. Just beware of graffiti on the walls if you walk in blind. What were my expectations for The Street? All I wanted was a refreshing dessert/drink which in this case was the “Diamond Ice.” By the way the service at The Street is generally friendly and helpful.\r Continuing on, I ordered the “Diamond Ice” which seemed to be a popular item with many customers that frequent here. It cost me $4.50 for the “mini size” and it was anything but small. The “Diamond Ice” consisted of shaved ice with sweet milk, fresh fruit, mochi, and red bean. I got a refreshing feeling after a few bites of this dessert. It was genuinely sweet and not too sweet. This dessert was also quite chewy which I expected. The texture was just right and made my mouth water. Again, the “Diamond Ice” is quite sizeable and I had some trouble finishing it myself since I am a light eater.\r Overall, I would say that The Street is worth a visit just for desserts alone. The “Diamond Ice” was definitely worth my visit.\r
