Red Robin\r \r \r You can enjoy a reasonable priced burger at Red Robin. I decided to have lunch at my favorite burger joint, Red Robin. I went to the location on 99th and Mc Dowell in Avondale located right behind the Harkins movie theatre and stands across from its competitor Island Burgers. Red Robin was first opened in the 1940’s near the University of Washington. It wasn’t called Red Robin at the time, but Sam’s Tavern. In 1973 Red Robin expanded it menu from jumbo sized beers, sandwiches and popcorn to the Red Robin Gourmet cheese burgers. Finally, in 2008 Red Robin was named one of ten best family restaurants in Parents Magazine. Red Robin is a great restaurant because of their variety of menu options, outstanding service and their friendly family atmosphere. \r Red Robin has several menu options to choose from. Depending on how hungry you are, you can start with something small like the creamy artichoke and spinach dip made with cheesy blend of artichoke hearts, spinach, onions, parmesan, a pinch of bacon and corn tortillas. If you need something a little more fulfilling then maybe you should order the onion ring tower. This giant tower comes with 13 sweet onion rings that are seasoned, breaded and crispy fried. This is also served with a tangy sweet sauce and a side of ranch dressing. Now if you are ready to move on to the main course then get ready to order the famous Whiskey River BBQ Burger. This burger is loaded with mouth watering BBQ sauce, smothered with cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo and don’t forget get order the famous garlic fries on the side. This burger is truly one of a kind. Then you can wash that all down with a classic monster milk shake. You can choose from chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, raspberry or peach. \r Red Robin gives outstanding customer service no matter what state you are in. If you are enjoying a meal in Washington or Phoenix you will always get fabulous service. The customer service level at this restaurant is far better compared to Island Burger. There is never a wait, the staff is always friendly and you will never have to flag down your waitress for a drink refills. \r Taking your family to Red Robin will always be a great experience. This kid friendly restaurant is very entertaining for the kids. The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant is this giant gumball machine, several balloons and a miniature arcade. This is enough to catch any child’s eye not to mention the giant colorful life size bird in the middle of the restaurant. This restaurant is also perfect to host a child’s birthday party or any other youth event.\r If you have not experienced eating at Red Robin, I would highly recommend you do it soon. Don’t miss out on some of the best gourmet burgers ever made. This restaurant has been around for years and I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon. Red Robin has a wide variety of menu options with reasonable prices and a great customer service. So what are you waiting for? Go grab yourself a burger.\r Pros: Fabulous gourmet burgers
