Review content:
This apartment complex sucks. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
-The day I moved in the place was filthy.
-There were cigarette butts in my roommates room.
-Three of the four mattresses had huge urine stains on them.
-We only had 3 dinning room chairs for the four of us that lived there.
-Our stove is crooked.
-The microwave is miniature and there is an ugly gap where the normal sized one should have filled.
-My roommates bathtub had a leak from the ceiling and she was told it was not fixable because it was where the air conditioning leaked. It continued to wake her at night the whole year, especially during the warm months.
-My dresser drawers were held together by DUCT-TAPE. and began
to break apart after about a week, not being fixed until the end of the first semester. -All of the cabinets are peeling, the carpet is filthy, the furniture is shitty.
-Our washer and dryer hardly ever worked. When we first moved in the dryer took about two full days worth of drying to leave our clothes still damp AND made a horrible noise that sounded like an animal dying. Considering this, our electric bill was $230 (almost $60 a person) and we were told we would be reimbursed and of course were not. Eventually after about a month of not having a washer or dryer and complaints from parents a new washer was installed and the dryer fixed (probably the only nice thing they ever did for us although I wouldn't be surprised if they just slapped a sticker on it to make it seem brand new). The washer was then installed incorrectly (no surprise) and about 7 different maintenance men came in and out of our apartment telling us it was broken and not to use it and then that it was fixed multiple times until finally it leaked everywhere in our apartment and all the way down to the first floor. Our carpets were never cleaned but of course the ones below were considering they are the only ones that get semi-less shitty stuff than the rest of the floors.
-To top it all off, the whole place smelled like a dead animal the whole year I lived there. Every time the air conditioning kicked on it reeked. Honestly I am not being dramatic. It literally smells like something is dead in our air vent. Of course the maintenance can't fix it because it doesn't smell when they come because we bought about ten air freshener plugins and they never come right when the air turns on.
There are more things I could complain about but I doubt you're even going to read this far. Point blank, DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE, ITS A SCAM. EVEN IF YOU WERE AS CHEAP AS WE WERE IT ISNT EVEN WORTH IT.
Also, once the first semester is up they were try and tempt you with a renewal price that is only $10 more than what you already payed that includes a carport, pet payment and a first floor premium. So pretty much they'll such your dick to get you to renew because they treat their residents so shitty and no one wants to live there ever again. It's highly doubtful that they would even follow through with it.
