Review content:
Three of us went to BarBossa this past Sunday for brunch. It was our first time there and it was such a treat! The bar/restaurant is small and casual and the food was phenomenal. The french toast with mango/strawberry salsa was the BEST french toast I have ever had. I also sampled the poached eggs in a red tomato sauce and the granola with yogurt and fruit. My roommate ordered the goat cheese fritatta and said it was delicious. Sunday brunch can turn into an hour wait with overpriced entrees but there was no wait at 1pm and the food was almost underpriced. $6 for french toast, $6 for granola, $7 for fritatta...and right around the corner from Public, Peasant, Jacques, Cafe Gitane, etc. A cozy atmosphere and amazing food - I would highly recommend. Pros: delicious food, great service, amazing value Cons: ambiance
