I've been going to this pathetic range for years now . Primarily because it was the only indoor range in town.
Do yourself a favor, and save your money. Completely rude staff (except the armorer/gunsmith who is really helpful), and a horrible range.
The range is terribly antiquated. And today, I had some old fart come out of the main office area and told me i was being unsafe and he didn't feel comfortable/he was nervous because of how I wasn't pointing down range. I had the gun pointed to the floor/low ready, slide locked open, and magazine removed. Didn't matter to this guy. He seemed stumped when I told him that's the exact condition his staff issues the pistols that are rented.
The ONLY redeeming quality about this place is the cheap range fee and a good assortment of rental guns for a good price.
if you're not looking to try out a few models of guns/renting, go elsewhere. There is a new indoor range in town (I'll refrain from mentioning here so the Bullet Hole staff doesn't think I'm an employee of said range...which Im not). It's twice as much as BH, but 1,000 times better. Better facility, range, customer service.
there's also another indoor range opening in Olathe in the summer of 2012 etc.
Save your money and avoid Bullet Hole and use ranges that actually appreciate your business rather than acting as if it's an inconvenience to help you. End the Bullet Holes' gravy train.
