Review content:
At first helping us choose the right carpet and getting back to us with information went well. We were told whatever carpet that was not in stock will take 5 to 7 days to have it in store and installation will be the very next day. When it was time to make a down payment for the carpet, we were told that it was not in stock and will take about 2 weeks to have it available and then we will be contacted immediately for installation the next day. We ignored the change of words and made the payment. 2weeks and 2 days later no phone call was received from s & g, we then called them and were told that the carpet is stuck in transit and we should wait another week. 1 week and 2 days later no phone call. We called them and they said the carpet just came in same day we called, and installation will be done the following week. We had planned to move into our new place where the carpet was to be installed 2 weeks earlier but we had to postphone it twice because of the carpet. We had to insist we had to move that weekend and installation the following week was not acceptable, before we got them to install it the next day.\r Installation was done properly, but the quantity of carpet was not enough to cover a hallway we wanted carpeted. So the installers told us their job was just to instal and we will have to make a complaint to s&g. At this point we had had it and decided to let it go. \r Some of our carpet was taken back to their store for binding for the doorway and we were told will be made available about a week later and we will be contacted for pick up. A month and 3 days later still no phone call was received, we called and were told to go pick it up from another branch.\r I understand mistakes happen a lot, but not like these. No follow up phone call from them to find out about the installation. But they went ahead to charge our credit card for the balance. I have never experienced such terrible service, and I will definitely not be visiting s & g carpet anymore. Cons: They do not really care about the customer
