Review content:
Bishops has great customer service and can give you instruction on completing most home projects. Unlike the big box stores, their staff has been in the hardware business for a long time. This is not to knock the folks at Home Depot or Lowe's, some of whom are very knowledgeable, but the knowledgeable staff there are far, few, and in-between. Bishops people are very easily accessible and glad to give help or advise. The prices are sometimes higher, and sometimes lower than the chains. Hardware prices (nuts, bolts, screws) are much lower. They still sell nails by the pound! A bargain! Maybe that's why you see so many contractors there. The paint department carries Pratt & Lambert paint. Good quality stuff! Talk to Chip about which paint to chose. A very good paint guy. I only wish they Bishops was open latter in the evening.
Pros: Great staff!
Cons: Wish they had later hours.
