Whitney's, a family-run market in Ocean Beach, is a home away from home for the hungry, the thirsty, and those looking for light bulbs or garbage bags.
The gorgeous, doting cashier staff provide free smiles to all shoppers upon arrival. Once there, you'll see a surprisingly large variety of products to serve all your needs, from fresh produce to different varieties of beer.
The deli team is also quick to provide an array of delicious sandwiches (may I recommend ""Justin's Summer Lunch"": Homemade pan-fried chicken cutlets with a bit of cole slaw on a fresh kaiser roll), and the delivery and porting services are second-to-none.
All the conveniences of the mainland with all the charm of the Island. And yes, they have condensed milk.
