If you don't have a lot of martial arts experience all the names can sound the same. I mean it's really overwhelming. And you think why should I, or my kid, do this? I have to admit one reason I chose BJJ above other arts is you can do it lying down! yay! But the really great thing about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is abbreviated to BJJ is that it involves the body, the mind, and the heart. You actually have to put your whole self into it and so of course you grow a lot more. It's not just kick kick punch punch which is fine but it is somewhat limited. Here you are learning strategy while you are toning your muscles. So you are not just learning a sport, you are learning to control your body and mind in a good way and achieve goals. Why Robson Moura instead of somebody else? A, he is the best of the best. Not a lot of 7 time world champs out there. Tampa just lucked out that he landed here. B, He is the most humble guy you will ever meet. He treats everybody with respect regardless of age, gender, whatever. So you really feel welcomed. And not only is that nice, it is a good example for kids. C, Great facility. CLEAN. Nowadays, germs are an issue. I am a germophobe and this place passed inspection with flying colors. So, check it out and see what you think.
