I recently went to this little shop because Specialty Tool And Bolt (a great place I've been shopping at for years) just ran out of the stainless steel screws I needed within the hour and didn't have time to drive anywhere else. So I walked in the door, the beeper sounded, and I waited for about 3 or 4 minutes in the empty, dusty, dirty store with no one in sight! I saw items for sale that were so old and faded I couldn't even read the tags of what they were! I finally walked into the office area in the back of the store because I heard someone talking and saw a fat guy sitting at his desk so I asked if someone could help me out front. He very rudely said ""Uh, as you can see I'm on hold trying to help another customer so someone will be with you when they are free! Thank you!"" I assumed he was having a bad day, and I really needed these screws, so I disregarded this fat guy's rudeness. After waiting over 10 minutes he came out and said very rudely, ""You know, everyone thinks they are so special. Everyone needs something RIGHT NOW and can't wait a second and they expect me to always have it in stock...."" and he continued to drone on and on another 5 minutes. Who does he think he is? I was offended so I asked to talk to a manager and he said ""I'm Marion the manager and owner. I've been here since...etc…” and he went on talking for 5 minutes about how stupid customers are. He then said since I wasn't getting anything else he had to price the 22 cent screws at $1.25 each so the total of 4 would come to the $5.00 minimum! THAT'S 5 TIMES MORE THAN HE JUST QUOTED ME! I told him to forget it because I was going to Home Depot due to his extremely rude attitude and rip-off tactics and waked out of the door. He actually followed me out the door making the rudest comments I've ever heard someone say including ""Good luck on your search! Come back when you can't find what you're looking for!"" I asked around and all 4 people said he was that way with them too! Avoid this place!
Cons: Marion (the owner!) is very rude and offensive to everyone!
