As a Cornell undergrad alum and a Cornell grad student, I have been in Ithaca for seven years, and it has taken me the entire seven years to FINALLY find someone that knows how to cut hair!! Nalyn is without a doubt the best and most talented hairstylist in Ithaca, and I can say this without a doubt in my mind after trying several other salons and always leaving disappointed.
I found Nalyn after a particularly terrible experience at a “fancy” new salon close to campus. No one has ever cut my long-layered hair style in less than 45-60 minutes, so after a 20 minute cut at this “fancy” salon, I left unhappy once again and even returned to the stylist that day with a picture in hand of the last good hair cut I had gotten, yet I left near tears. After wasting $55 and most of my day, I decided I had to find someone else. I read a few wonderful reviews about Nalyn, which were only confirmed when I talked to her on the phone told me to head over right then. She spent about a full hour fixing my hair and creating beautiful long layers that everyone has complimented me on. I haven’t been to another stylist since then and even brought my boyfriend in for a cut which no other stylist has been able to come close to.
I really cannot say enough good things about Nalyn, except that if you are looking for an amazing hair cut in Ithaca, head on over to Nalyn!!
