It's difficult to get a good men's haircut in Ithaca if you want to avoid the barber shop buzz-cut experience or the student-oriented places in Collegetown.
I stumbled upon Nalyn and her salon on a Sunday afternoon and she was happy to take me without an appointment, and gave me a great salon-style cut for a very reasonable price considering the quality of the work she does. She was very friendly and easy to talk to, and was very devoted to her craft and extremely precise and thorough with her cutting.
I'd highly recommend Nalyn at Gia's Elite and she has definitely made me a regular customer.
