The evil post a year ago about sums it up. The sales personnel will tell you it is easy to get a release from the contract if you move or deploy. That is a lie. They will not let you out if you deploy, they will put it on hold. If you move you must write them from your new location once you have bills and such coming to your new address. None of this is in the contract and they won't tell you until you meet with them to try to cancel.\r This is not a fitness center, this is a money-making endeavor by NSI, National Security Interests. Look them up on consumer advocacy websites and you will see complaints about high pressure sales, difficulty cancelling, contract issues and the like. When I checked there were 21 in the last 36 months and 10 were unresolved. \r When I went to my meeting with NSI to make arrangements to cancel my membership I was told I could not until I actually moved. My plan was to stay with it until the move, but the intimidated me and told me it was my fault for signing a contract. There were two people that basically told me I was old enough to sign a contract and should have known better. \r Nowhere did they address the overcrowded issue, I brought it up and one guy in the meeting just shrugged.. seriously!! He didn't care it was overcrowded.. just said you signed a contract and that is not a reason to get out of it. \r So, I have to bide my time until my move and when I read the brochure on cancelling, they actually say it is up to NSI to decide if they will let me cancel. Now, that was not in the contract.\r Its overcrowded, customer service is nonexistant, and oh yeah my husband's locker was broken into and everything taken out of it while he was deployed. Pros: Looks nice if you come during a low traffic time Cons: Paced after work; high pressure sales; rude financial staff
