I took my puppy in and after waiting 2 hours he was finally diagnosed with Parvo. Most of the staff were unfriendly and looked like they didnt even want to be there. The Dr. wrote an estamate and for little over 1 day at the facility it was going to cost me $800!! Then I would have to transfer him to another vet for anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks! He gave us no hope, and we couldnt even afford the 1 day there. He told us that he wouldnt make it unless he was hospitalized and he recomended euthinaztia since we couldnt afford it. Sadly I wasnt knowledgable on Parvo so I told them to just put him down so he wasnt in pain. Come to find out I could have got the antibiotics from him and then taken him home and nursed him back to health, with alot of dedication and a few things to keep him hydrated!!! I am OUTRAGED that the Dr. said he wouldnt make it unless he was in his VERY EXPENSIVE hospital!!!! We caught it very early and he had a very good chance he could have made a full recovery at home.....Sadly he isnt with us any longer and I blame the Dr. for not providing us with the knowledge or option to take him home. ~RIP Titan- 1/09-6/09~
