I have gone to the same general practice dentist since I was 7 years old, so I was a little uncertain of what to expect when I went to Dr. Bauman for a root canal. I was quite impressed with the experience. \r

First of all, I appreciated Dr. Bauman's honesty. When I went in, I planned on getting two root canals. However, after a thorough examination, Dr. Bauman informed me that I only needed a root canal for one of the teeth. He also explained the root canal process and procedure clearly and in detail, which was helpful for someone experiencing this procedure for the first time. \r

I was also happy to see how willing Dr. Bauman was to work with my general practice dentist in making sure the root canal met the specifications of the crown I would be receiving for that tooth. \r

The root canal process was not bad at all. Dr. Bauman demonstrated significant skill in administering anesthetic and performing the procedure. He also provided some dark glasses to keep the water and light out of my eyes. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep for part of the procedure, which I don't typically do in a dentist's chair.\r

Dr. Bauman's staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated their care and consideration in working with me. While I hope I won't need another root canal in the future, I will definitely contact Dr. Bauman's office again if I do.
