What a wonderful recommendation. Me, my husband and our two children were visiting some of his family in the Dallas area last month over the kids' Spring Break. We wanted to take the kids to something special for a few days and another family member recommended the Great Wolf Lodge. What surprised me most wasn't how much fun the kids had--they slept like logs every night!--but was how much fun my husband and I had. The great thing about the resort/lodge (yes it's actually an enormous wooden cabin) is that everything is within the hotel--you never have to leave! The different food selections were great and there were plenty of other attractions and activities other than the water park. Needless to say, the kids are constantly asking when we're going back. I'm sure this is going to be a stop every time we're visiting the family in Dallas. Too bad there isn't one near Austin. Thanks Great Wolf!
