As the new manager of the Beach Cities Scuba, Newport Beach location, I am disturbed to read such negative things about our store. Yes, we do cater to the high end consumer, but that does not mean that we won't take care of the budget-minded as well. All of our prices are set to manufacturer's MSRP. We also will price-match any AUTHORIZED dealer out there, including SCUBA-dot-com and Sport Chalet. As far as training goes, we do offer the best training with the smallest max class size (6 being max, 7 in certain circumstances). We also carry almost every brand of equipment out there and service all of the brands we carry plus a few we don't. Our IN HOUSE technician used to work for Atomic Aquatics as their in house technician, so you know he is highly qualified and that you'll be getting top-quality service. I feel that if given a chance, the new management here at BCS Newport Beach can change your opinions of our store.
