Review content:
Glenna's seminar on ""The Role of HR in the Job Search"" totally challenged the 'urban myths"" that permeate career transition & the job search. With a sense of professionalism (matched by a sense of humor) Glenna was able to dispel the notion of ""bypassing HR"". Instead she built a solid case for making HR an ally in the process. My take away: Build a relationship with HR, submit for a job through HR, BUT better still is to have an internal reference ""drop by"" and check with HR to see if you are in the system as a candidate.
