I thought that I would take my kids here for the weekend for some swimming. Chose this hotel over the other 3 in the are because of the Howard Johnson name. It was a NIGHTMARE!!! The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. When I called the front desk to complain because my son has allergies and asthma, they said they would send the maid up with air freshener.\r
The pool was so dirty I cleaned it myself for 20 mins so that my kids wouldn't be disappointed. When I complained to the front desk , I was told it's only cleaned once in the morning and they could not clean it again.\r
We checked out after only 2 hours because we could not bare this horrible place. I paid $50 for this horrible experience and was not offered any type of remedy.\r
I wish I could give this place zero stars!!!\r
You'd be better off sleeping in your car!!!
