Very disappointed. Restaurant was jam packed and very noisy. My Minestrone soup tasted like they put some cooked vegetables into warm water. Perhaps they ran out of soup and rushed this out. We had a 7:30 PM reservation on a Saturday, and they were out of the Bronzini special. Worse when they brought out the main courses---- several minutes apart for that matter- we were told that they were out of red snapper one of their regular menu items. This necessitated one person in our group having to order a new main course after everyone else had their entrees. My Cat fish was very undercooked and had to be sent back. Our table for six had a broken leaf, and their answer was to move my plate closer to the middle. It was so loud I could not hear our friends across from us. Right next to us they turned a table for four into a six by adding a small table that almost bumped into our table. The owner's comment,"" what do you want me to do turn people away"", was really not satisfactory. This higher priced restaurant was so packed it had the feel that it was filled with people with coupons. $27.00 for a half bottle of a non-reserve Chianti seemed a little high. Portions were small for the price charged. On the bright side the bread served before the meal was good and the Cappuccino was excellent. Although the waiter brought out a decaf instead of the regular that I had ordered. It was so loud I thought the staff had trouble hearing their customers!!!!!
