Review content:
i googled ""morrison"" for a repair place thinking this was the one mentioned by the music shop, called them up on a saturday and was happy that they were open. i brought in my reference amp and was surprised that this isn't the place i'd had in mind. regardless, my amp is a brand that they service, so i decided to have them look at it. i was contacted after a few weeks with an estimate pending the availability of a factory part. then they let me know that it was available and how much, and fast forward, i now have it back in top shape. i've also now had the chance to review the first place that i'd originally thought i'd googled as a second piece of gear needed attention before i'd gotten the amp back. the experiences are radically different. if i need repair work in the future, i know exactly where i'll go for in town work. i do not work for this company nor do i know anyone who does, and i offer this review as there is just 1 here (so far). inner sound was professional and courteous. no where on their paperwork does it say ""please avoid calling to check on a repair unless absolutely necessary...time spent on the phone is time that could be spent making progress towards your repair. we will definitely call you when we have word on your repair."" i called after a month after being told it would be a week to 2 weeks and felt i'd made a mistake by doing so. a complete 180, night and day experience. it's good to have options and that there's more than one place in town, but i'll know for next time. i worked in music retail for a family run business in texas and we had a repair department that provided service (albeit usually with lengthy turnaround times) so i don't think i'm being harsh. i've been on both sides of the counter and i'm glad that these guys use the phone to their advantage and provide good communication as well as service. Pros: good communication and follow-ups, professional work met expectations
