I just wanted to clear up any confusion. This is a lifetime replacement for a part. Most manufacturers have gone to a 90 day warranty on their parts. Which means if you purchase a part, lets say for $60.00, and it fails at 91 days you would have to purchase another one for $60.00. This is an added service so that you would never have to purchase that part again as long as you own that appliance. If it was me I would be more upset at 91 days having to repurchase. Even if it failed 3 times it was $6.00. As for explaination at purchase it should be explained more in detail.
