Review content:
I had two other reputable places come out to my house, and both of them gave me the exact same quote. They both said I needed a new air conditioner compressor. John Lock was my third call, as I wanted another opinion. I called the gentleman out here, I believe his name was Chris, and with 20 minutes my air conditioner was up and running again. It turned out to be just a fuse! He literally had to run to Home Depot to get a fuse, replace the one that was blown out, and it hasn't missed a beat since.
We agreed that we have an old system, so Chris checked out the entire thing, and it's running fine. He got it up and running for less than $100. We'll never know if the other two companies were out to get us, or if they forgot the basics of air conditioning units and misdiagnose a problem with an older unit. What we do know is where we will purchase a new air conditioning unit when we need it, and that's John Lock Air Conditioning & Heating. Looks like there's still some good guys out there!
