Review content:
Sawadee is like a hollow chocolate easter egg, pretty on the outside but with a lack of substance and only disappointment on the inside. Though you thought you'd end up with a nice ""authentic"" meal it is anything but. The food is bland, and I'm not just talking about the heat of chillies. Thai food should not only a delicate balance between sweet, salty, sour, and spicy but also the flavors of the various Thai herbs and spices. \r

Curry sauces are pre-made and then vegetables/meats are quickly parboiled and the sauce slopped on as opposed to being stewed together for maximum flavor incorporation. Food quality is sacrificed for speed. Either Thai Garden or Chanon Thai Cafe would be excellent alternatives.
Pros: Nice servers, pretty interior.
Cons: Low quality of food, too many tables crammed into the restaurant's space, overpriced, did I mention low quality food?
