Review content:
We spent an indulgent weekend at the Phillips Hotel with dinner in the Chop House and still share that first experience with friends. The atmosphere brings to mind the warm and seductive polished wood of a private library. Ambience soft and subtle. The service is impeccable. Timely and with superb execution by every staff member. The filet mignon was ordered medium (for some that is a sin)and arrived exactly as I have always imagined. Vegetables were crisp and hot. Salads full of baby leafs and what tasted like home grown tomatoes. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Chef who was quite humble when complmented. Definitely a five star experience. Pros: valet parking through the hotel. Cons: a bit pricey for some but oh so worth it.
