Review content:
I went to Krystal's for the first time on Sat. night. This was my first time eating Filipino food and I definitely think it was a great experience. Unlike what the previous reviewer experienced, my party of 8 received excellent service all throughout the night. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted and directed upstairs where there is more seating. The waiter promptly took our order and the food came out quickly. We had all our silverware right from the start. Even though we all ordered drinks, they bought us water in case we wanted it. The food was delicious and cheap. It came out to $15 a person including tax & tip -- the meal consisting of appetizer, entree, drink, and dessert. Everyone walked out full so the portion is good -- and believe me, we can eat! Extras included the big screen tv where the Filipino Channel was airing a game show. After 10pm, there's open mic karaoke. The only negative I can point out is that we had to go downstairs to order our dessert from the bakery. They don't have a dessert menu as part of the restaurant, but it was all good. One of us just bought it from the bakery downstairs and we ate it at our table upstairs. And Filipino dessert is sooo good. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely go again. Pros: Budget eating; delicious food; good service; fun atmosphere Cons: Window w/ no curtains/blinds in girl's bathroom got me paranoid when I was doing my business
