Review content:
Very dissatisfied with the service. They installed a new dishwasher for me through my home warranty company. It backed up water on occasion from the very start. I did not want to spend another deductible so kind of ignored it for a while until the past month when I realized the thing was not draining or cleaning the dishes properly. \r
I pulled up the owners manual and install manual for my model and realized that it was installed improperly. There is supposed to be either an air lock installed or the drain hose is supposed to be looped up above the drain for it to drain properly and to keep it from backing up. Because this was not done, grease had gotten into the hose and blocked it.\r
I went back to my home warranty company and had to spend another service call fee to have this shoddy workmanship repaired. When I talked to the CAS about this and requested that they reimburse me the additional service call fee, they told me #1, that there is an airlock on the house plumbing and that no airlock was needed... ummm, sorry, I'm not stuck on stupid! #2 that they were contracted to install it exactly as my other one was installed... wrong, they were contracted to install it correctly! #3 that they installed it correctly and the loop on the hose must have fallen... wrong, not enough hose to even form a loop! and #4 that the service fee I paid was for diagnosis of the problem, that the home warranty company paid for the install so it's not their problem.\r
The home warranty company is now aware of the situation and that this company made them look bad in the process. In these days and times, with the economic situation the way it is, I fail to understand how any company would chance losing business through poor workmanship, lying and poor customer service, but that is no longer my problem, is it...\r
Sincerely, Bonnie (Aiken) Rinato\r
