Review content:
This place is amazing. The first time I ventured in a cute little old women came out of the back in full “Italian grandma” style in an apron carrying a roast beef right out of the oven. I could see the juices glinting. Her entrance was met with a light hearted “Ma…I’m with a customer” by her son and the owner Michael. It was instantly my go to place for a little prosciutto or a ball of mozzarella. The other morning…everything changed. I took a chance and asked if they had breakfast sausage so I didn’t have to walk all the way to the grocery store and voila! Michael, who is always quick with a warm hello when you walk through the door, hands me a bag of homemade breakfast links. I take them home and fry them up with just a tablespoon of water and they smell DELISH! When I take the first bite I know I am in trouble…they are the best damn sausages I have ever eaten…EVER.
I have been back twice since to restock (it has only been a week). My breakfast is not complete without them. So if you are in the mood for a local place with old-school charm and amazing home-cooked food, stop by and tell Michael I sent you.
Pros: best homemade breakfast sausage
