Review content:
I took my two daughters, ages 3 1/2 and 5, for their first dance class last week. The class I signed them up for was Princess Ballet. On the website it stated that the class sizes are small, on average 10 students, however the class size at our first meeting was at least 20 students. Two instructors worked with the class which moved things along and helped class run smoothly. \r

I will say that the instructors were very patient with the young girls. They worked with them and gave them the confidence to do the moves. After just one class and zero prior experience, my daughters have three 8 counts memorized for their performance. Although the ballet steps they are learning are simple and not refined, I was amazed at how well all of the students responded to the instructors. Each student is given a name tag so that the instructors can properly address them by name.\r

This is a great studio to take your child when they are begining dance lessons. The studio was busy, however the staff is very kind and caring. I witnessed a child who urgently needed to use the restroom and the instructors made sure she made it in time and ensured that she was ok after the near accident. If a child needs to borrow dance shoes they are available at the front desk. \r

The studio is small and with the amount of students who attended the class made it less roomy in the viewing area where parents can watch their child practice. There is an upstairs loft in the studio which is not completely open, but covered with lattice. A stretch class was held in the upstairs area which got noisy in the entire studio when the music was blasting. Lucky the two downstairs areas where the other classes were taking place are completely enclosed and will go undistrubed at this time. \r

Overall I am pleased with Act One. They did two things for me which I completely appreciated. They allowed my 3 1/2 year old to attend a class with her sister which was for 4yr -8yr, and they allowed her to try the class before I paid for it which was also a big help. My daughters look forward to their weekly lesson and even if they never become prima ballerinas I am sure they will enjoy the experience of taking the class.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Patient w/ Children, Viewing Area for Parent
Cons: Crowded, Large Class Size, Noisy
