I go up to Solvang 4-5 times a year with my boyfriend. I took him up there for his birthday this past weekend, and we stayed at Hadsten House, after much research on TripAdvisor. I like to stay in nicer hotels, and this place was great. The location is next to two of our favorite wineries, among many other good ones all within walking distance. The hotel gives you a list of about 25 wineries that you can go to to get either 2 for 1 or complimentary tastings. Free Breakfast. Comfortable beds. Oh! Did I mention the hotel also offers a happy hour from 3-5pm with 2 glasses of wine per person, with fruits, cheese and crackers? It's definitely worth the price when you take all these things into consideration. I'm taking my friends back next month!!!
