Review content:
I went to Kimera last Monday night for the first time. Great place and good food. The bar area was really nice and had comfy chairs to lounge in. Very chill and the perfect place for a date. I specifically chose to try this place because of the reviews and the fact that they had 50% off all dinner items on Monday night. So I ordered the Shrimp Scampi with Risotto. Kind of a small plate for the price and not as good as I expected. I also tried the Curry Chicken Pizza which I thought was really good. My date ordered the Penne with Chicken dish which was also very good. When I received my bill, I had expected the prices to be half off, but instead I was charged full price because my date and I chose to sit in the bar/lounge area instead of the dining area. I asked the waitress about this and she kindly told me she would talk to the manager about it to try and give me the discount. I told her to tell the manager that I was a first time customer, but they refused to accomodate me. It was misleading to me because had I chose to sit on the other side of the restaurant, I would have saved $30 and they didn't bother to tell me that. And as a first time customer, I would think that making me a repeat customer would be more important than charging me full price. Live and learn. Just make sure that if you want to take advantage of the Monday night 50% special, that you SIT IN THE DINING AREA and not the bar/lounge. Pros: Ambience, Decor, Food, Service, Music Cons: Management should be more accomodating
