On my way home from son's track meet late this afternoon, his friend recommended Rizzo's for dinner. I've driven by this place for years and have never stopped in...boy was I glad I did tonite, on so many levels! The owner had to ask me to move my vehicle, because I had blocked him in driveway, when I was placing my order. Honestly, it was no big deal, I was thrilled to walk into a clean establishment, where it smelled good, friendly vibe, easy to read fun signage and good welcoming service. I knew right away (because i work in retail) that they had the customer service piece down pat. What I didn't expect was the owner calling the restaurant after he had left and asking the servers to offer me a free onion ring order, because I had to move my jeep for him. I serioulsy had forgotten all about it!! I was floored and totally hooked. Will always go back to Rizzo's. When me and the boys' food was ready, they brought it to the table! Whoa! Big servings, perfect fries...awesome roast beef, mozz sticks and steak and cheese sub, and ....my BLT was perfectly packed and stacked...only wish, was that the bacon was a little crispier, but that's just my personal preference. What I was so looking for was a clean, relaxing welcoming place to bring the kids after a long day....and I got so much more! Thank you Rizzo's!
