After researching clearbra/paint protection film retail installers in the corridor I landed at Auto Trim and Sign. After leaving my brand new car (only a matter of days old) with AT&S for a full day I returned around 5pm to discover a substantial amount of bubbles, what appeared to be stretches in the material (later discovered to be fingerprints on the tacky side), and that the material was not wrapped around the hood and body seams. The latter is significant as the material becomes far more visible (as opposed to having only one rear-edge seam) but also protects less of the surface. I expressed my concern and the business owner was willing to work on the vehicle again, but only after I waited a month for evaporation of the fluid used to apply the film and the supposed cause of the bubbles. After three embarrassingly unsightly weeks had elapsed and the bubbles and imperfections remained, I presented my vehicle to the business once again leaving it the night before so they would have it for a full day. After receiving zero communication regarding the status of the job I telephoned en route at 4:45 and was assured the vehicle was ready for pick up, looked perfect, and the business would be open until at least 5:30.
