We made reservations for a holiday weekend months in advance. Two weeks before our trip, the owner emailed and said that ""due to unforeseen circumstances the cabin wouldn't be available"". When I called she said there had been a storm that damaged the septic system and it wouldn't be fixed in time. I informed her some friends of ours reserved the cabin next door and asked her if it was damaged. She said it was but that it would be ready. We ended up staying in the cabin next door with our friends. We were surprised to see people already in the cabin we reserved when we arrived. After talking to the other renters we learned they double booked the cabin and then lied about it. Luckily we were able to pack everybody into a single cabin or their error would have left us with no place to stay so close to a busy weekend. Terrible property managers who lie. In addition, when I asked her about finding another place for us so close to the reservation date, all she offered was a name of another property manager and assured me they were booked up. Lots of help. Don't do business with these people!
