Review content:
From wine to apps to desserts -- delicious. I particularly liked the artisinal mushrooms on toast as an appetizer -- just savory and yummy. The fried chicken was very good -- texture and flavor. The item I liked least (cabbage stuffed with pilaf) was still OK. I came from the office with a tie on... and was the only one in the place with a tie. The rest of the clientele had a purposeful and studied casualness that might have been annoying if the staff hadn't made me feel welcome. Not that I thought that they liked me personally or anything; the fact was that these guys were consummate pros. I've been to the 'hot restaurant of the moment' before where the staff feel a license to pull attitude. Not here....
Pros: The food
