When it's good it's VERY good but when it's off it's a waste of an evening. We've eaten at this establishment about a half of a dozen times and it's been 50/50; About 3 of the times we've gone they were out of many things that we ordered and the service was poor (slow, items forgotten, nobody checking back on us after our food came etc) but then the other 3 times the food and service was superb. The last time we went we ordered the appetizer platter for $16; One of the main items on the platter is Calamari. After we waited for a very long time the server came out and told us that they were out of the Calamari. Now remember that the Calamari is probably the most valuable item on the platter. She told us that if we still wanted the platter the cook would make something ""very nice"" to make up for the lack of the Calamari. When the platter came you know what the ""very nice"" item was that was supposed to make up for the missing Calamari? A SLICE OF AVOCADO. We left feeling ripped off. Anyhow, like I said, it's a 50/50 proposition. When they do get things right it is indeed excellent. NOTE: GO EARLY; The later you go the more likely they are to tell you that they are out of many of the more desirable menu items.
