When I first came across the raving reviews of the salon and Tami, I was very excited and immediately made an appointment with her to do my hair. I wanted a dramatic color change and cut, which turned out to be great in the beginning. Tami did a good job styling my hair and listening to what I really wanted. Well, as time passed and I continued going to her for my appointments 6 weeks apart to redye my roots, I became very disappointed with the outcomes. It would seem that Tami was always in a hurry to get me out of there, keeping the color on for only a few minutes and rinsing it out. I would leave there with a $200 bill, just to get home and find that my roots were still dark brown. If I parted my hair in any other way then the way she did, my dark roots completely showed through my blond hair. It was as if they had grown out after 5 weeks instead of looking like I just left the salon. I was very upset because I paid so much money, so the next time I went to her. I told her that there was still a lot of dark left in my hair, esp the bottom of my hair since I guess she did not take the time to put foils there. She said ok, that she would try to lighten it, but when I left and section my hair off in different areas, there was still a lot of black. She would never pull the color through to the roots, and with brown roots and blond hair, it looked really bad. I have changed stylists now because frankly, $200 is already a LOT of money to pay and for a job that's not even done properly. I referred my mom as well and she's had the same experience. The very last time she went to Tami, Tami only left the color on her dark roots for 10 mins before rinsing her because she was rushing to get to her next client. My mom got home with dark roots, as if she never went to get them touched up, only $175 poorer. Obviously, neither of us are her clients anymore. Disappointing...
