I was just there last night after a couple of days in Miami, I tried the typical places in Lincoln Rd. and such, and this was by far the best meal of my trip, it is a little bit out of the way but totally worth it, we started with the alcapurrias (that I also brought a dozen frozen back to Texas) and there were soo yummy, then I had the Churrasco relleno de Mofongo, and it was the best mofongo I've had in my life! it was so tasty, and the crunchiness with the chicharron was just perfect, the churrasco with the chimichurri sauce worked perfectly with the mofongo, I was so full but I could not stop eating and loving every bite of it!\r \r Now about the place, well they say you pay for the "experience" , it might not have the whole "South beach" White Curtains and white leather sofas, but it can not get any more authentic than this, the staff is so happy and attentive that you can tell they enjoy working there, there was a Birthday and I have never seen such a lively Happy Birthday song! turned down the lights, everybody with a different instrument, you couldn't help but to join in and sing! having said that, we did NOT pay good enough for the experience! again, Best Meal in Miami!!
