Carlino's is Italy on the Main Line. There is no place that can offer you such a fine array and such quality. Start with their produce. Clean and fresh and sometimes lower priced than the grocery store. Move to prepared fresh/frozen pastas (try the pumpkin ravioli), excellent cheeses ( Only Di Bruno's offers you more in cheese) and authentic Italian meats. \r
Try their pizzas - the real thing: from the purest simple tomato to quattro stagioni.\r
Prepared dinners! Better than any restaurant. \r
And bread - several types, all fresh made, all the highest quality.\r
If you have a question about food, talk to Mamma Carlino or email her. She's a real person and can offer invaluable information.\r
If you go on a Holiday - be prepared. The traffic in is so heavy, they have their own policeman.\r
This is truly one of the essentials for anyone who knows anything about real food.
