Tried it on a weeknight, . Ask for an elevated booth off the bar and check out the bar scene. Dark atmosphere and cool crowd Waitress was great, both bussboys very cute and kept the chips and salsa refilled. Hard tacos were perfect, pork cooked in a banana leaf was meltingly tender. Guacamole was very good too. Only really bad item was the beans on the side. No Flavor and a poor texture . Not traditional Mexican fare, a bit of an upscale, mild take instead. For a mexican restaurant they have a pretty good wine list .Over all the food is a bit too bland for my tastes. I'd prefer a little more grease and chili, but I'm sure they are catering to a mostly white Sherman Oaks patronage. I'll be back.
