Review content:
My daughter had her wedding reception at the La Caille this summer and it was truly a spectacular event, accentuated by the elegant and well prepared food and superlative service. Kudos to Kim Rodgers, the La Caille event coordinator, who went out of her way to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect. I see some reviews here that are negative about the food quality and service -- I can hardly believe we are talking about the same restaurant, as our own experience was quite different and extraordinary. A special thanks to the owners of the La Caille as well, who have had to endure all this unfounded negativism. Keeping those idyllic grounds in their full splendor and all the personnel required to reproduce a French experience here in Utah is no easy or inexpensive proposition, and you have certainly achieved something wonderful and memorable here. Oh, and as to food price, prices in mainstream Paris restaurants are way more expensive (I paid $85 for a sandwich), and this amazing Utah locale saves you a ton of money on airfare and lodging expenses by enabling you to experience a bit of France, right here in Utah, for a relatively modest price. Don't let the negative reviews you see here dissuade you from going to the La Caille for dinner, or from planning your special event there. Based on our own experience, you should be delighted!
