Review content:
Actually there is a difference between service fees and gratuity fees. A service fee is the money that the customer pays to the company so the company can pay all of the employees who work on the event such as chefs, dishwashers, prep cooks, servers, and event coordinators, their hourly wage, A gratuity fee is usually 18% of the final bill which is supposed to go to the service staff which is standard in Utah restaurants. Also i can assure you that the servers working an event do not make 25$ an hour because if they did then they wouldn't be so upset with the management. Even if the servers are getting between 10$ and 15$ an hour, which is hardly enough to live on, the idea of management stealing money and even, in some cases, blaming it on the employees is just messed up. obviously there is a huge problem at this place because most every employee has a problem and nobody wants to say anything because everybody fears for their job if they stand up. because trust me people have been fired for much less then standing up for themselves at La Caille
