When I first arrived at Fenway Loop Apartments with my new husband and an 'apartment expert', I was a little underwhelmed. I had just visited several brand new complexes with all the amenities, and Fenway Loop wasn't a complex with a pool, and it wasn't new.
Walking into the apartment we would lease almost immediately afterwards, I was pleasantly surprised at how well-maintained the apartment was. Everything was very clean; in fact, we found only minor nicks in the fresh paint. The unit came with a washer and dryer and HUGE closets in both rooms. We were sold!
Now, we've lived in this apartment for 4 and a half years. We've survived a few mild parties with our friends, out-of-town guests, and the arrival of our first child, who is now two-years-old. This apartment has been our home from the moment we moved in! If our family weren't steadily growing and becoming much more active, we wouldn't dare move! We have loved it here.
The apartment manager, Bert, has been wonderful from the start. She only rents to tenants who will respect the space, so we've never had any issues with noise or creepy neighbors. When a maintenance issue arises, Bert is quick to call Gonzalo, the kindest, most attentive repair-man I know. We've had only one emergency issue, a faulty air conditioner in the heat of the summer, and Bert had it fixed within 9 hours. Other maintenance issues are fixed within a week! Bert has even talked me through issues that might have cost ME money should she have called for repairs. She is very knowledgeable and responsive to all of her tenants' needs. She adheres strictly to the rules and might talk your ear off, but I believe she truly cares about those 'under her care'.
