We called a plumber Sunday afternoon. They were busy but said they would refer us to one of their associates, All Star. So at around 3:30 Sunday afternoon we were told yes, he had another job but could get to us after that. Ok, no problem. So by 6:30 my gut told me he wasn't coming but thought further arrangements could be made so we called back. No, no he insisted he was just finishing up and was on his way- ok. So by 10 pm just for kicks and giggles I called to see what was up and got the message machine/recording. Monday was Labor day, he'd have been paid extra to come out and you'd think after what happened Sunday we'd be first on the list. Nope. No show no call. Again, he would have been paid *extra.* Haven't heard a word, not an I'm sorry, not a screw you, nothing. Today, Tuesday, called Brock plumbing. Brock plumbing came out first thing and I kid you not they were done in less than 15 minutes and that counted the time it took to talk to me and turn the water on at the street. It was one pipe that needed reattaching. It was done and over by 10 am. I'm not just annoyed that all-Star didn't show. A phone call would have saved me a day or more of wait time. They not only did not take the job, they basically created a situation where they lied to keep dibs on a job they had no intention of doing. I wouldn't let them fix the bathtub in my daughter's Barbie house much less let them near real plumbing. Nobody who knows what they are doing is that unprofessional.
