This is the worst company ever! They bailed out on my contract to build a retaining wall after getting all the money they could out of me. The excavation had already been done but with no retaining wall for so long, the neighbor's property has fallen into my yard. I had to hire a new contractor who then had to pull out all the bricks Southland laid and redo the foundation since the little part of the wall they did install was crooked, not leveled and did not have the right foundation. To top it off there aren't enough bricks to do half the job even though I paid for all the supplies up front. When I went to order more bricks I found out that the bricks they used were discontinued over 5 years ago and cannot be ordered again! So now I am stuck with bricks I can't even use. This company gives contractors all over a bad name! I suggest you stay far away from this company! After more than 2 months, they have only come to work a handful of days, and each time a very small amount of poor quality work was done. They left trash all over my yard, including their human waste, and they broke my rain gutters. I would never know if or when they were coming back because when the owner, Ryan, was in contact, he would say ""tomorrow"" everyday and nothing happened! The rest of the time Ryan was screening my calls and still won't return any messages so now I have to go to court and sort this out. The last he told me he was in a psych ward and would send another contractor to finish the job. He sent an unlicensed kid to come and bid out the job, who just tried to get more money from me even though I had already paid Ryan! Don't trust these guys! \r
