Review content:
I love the Planet Fitness gyms! It has been a great experience. The machines are great, the atmosphere is clean, friendly without being trendy or a meat market pick-up scene. There are people of different levels of fitness and varying shapes and sizes. They have a wall of flat screen TV's; the machines have inlets to plug in head phones if you wish to listen to the TVs or you are free to ignore them. The music isn't overpowering. There are locker rooms with showers, toilets, and of course, lockers that are clean. The best part at this gym is the red light therapy! They also have tanning booths, hair cuts and massage chairs, which with the red light booths are all free for the upgraded, ""black memberships"", for $29/mo, and a one time fee billed in June. I like the machines at the Golf Course and Irving gym better, but I LOVE the red light therapy booth at Southern!!
I have been working out for over 30 years in gyms from California to Hawaii to Florida and now in New Mexico, and I rate the Planet Fitness Gyms that I have been to on Southern in Rio Rancho and Irving in Albuquerque as two of my favorites!
